U.S. Census Bureau Data Variable Matrix. Selected Variables from: 1990 Census of Population and Housing; 1992 Survey of Minority-Owned Business Enterprises; Population Projections for States by Age, Sex, Race, and Hispanic Origin: 1995-2025

This document lists variables of interest to the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), classified by their availability at the National, state, and county level. This listing was created by the U.S. Census Bureau Population Division from the following Census Bureau data products: selected 1990 Census of Population and Housing Summary Tape Files and Subject Summary Tape Files, the 1992 Survey of Minority-Owned Business Enterprises, and the Population Projections for States by Age, Sex, Race, and Hispanic Origin: 1995 to 2025. The U.S. Census Bureau Data Variable Matrix was developed in order to provide the MBDA with a menu of Census data variables relevant to MBDAs mission and from which the underlying data pertaining to these variables may subsequently be provided, by request. From this foundation, MBDA may elect to identify specific data to extract for analytical purposes, including the production of state and/or county-level maps. The extracted data would then serve as the starting point toward establishing a dynamic data base for MBDA, that could be updated as new population estimates, projections, Economic Census, and Census of Population and Housing data become available.
