The objectives of this study were to examine the nesting and brood-rearingecology of Giant Canada Geese in central Missouri. The approach used was to (1) document nesting phenology, (2) evaluate clutch size, nest success, and the number of goslings leaving successful nests in relation to initiation date, nest type, and year, (3) evaluate gosling survival in relation to hatch date, gang brooding, movement patterns, and year, and (4) compare these data to that of other Canada Goose populations.
