State and local policymakers in the executive and legislative branches ofgovernment attended this 2 12-day workshop to learn of new research, tools, and strategies to promote the expanded use of appropriate clinical preventive care. Sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's User Liaison Program, the workshop featured 14 sessions. It also provided a forum for approximately 60 participants to discuss and strategies for increasing the appropriate use of clinical preventive care.
