The issue of streptococcal infections associated to neuropsychiatric disorders in children - chorea, tics, PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychioatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infection) - has already been the subject of publications, workshops and symposia at international levels. In the present workshop the different clinical, epidemiological, immunological and microbiological aspects are covered, on the first day, by international and national experts, while the second day is devoted to the presentation of Italian data and the implementation of a network to collect data at a national level.
