A general survey of the national experience in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) was presented. Results of a national working group of physicist involved in research and practical implementation of IMRT technique was discussed, raising a debate among scientific community interested to the usage of advanced radiotherapeutical techniques. A session was devoted to the presentation of new topics in IMRT research to be approached in the next future.
