We have audited the balance sheets of the U.S. Department of the Treasury--Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) as of September 30, 2006 and 2005 and the related statements of net cost, changes in net position, financing and custodial activity, and the combined statement of budgetary resources for the year ended September 30, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as 'financial statements'), and have issued the report thereon dated November 21, 2006.
