摘要

The mission of the Center of Excellence in Chromosome Biology (CECB) is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms involved in chromosome function, how abberations in chromosomes and chromatin lead to disease, and how these defects can be corrected. Towards achieving our mission, this symposium brings together internationally renowned experts in the field of chromatin and transcription, epigentics, stem cell biology, cellular differentiation and genomic instability. These speakers will present recent insights into the molecular links between events occurring in chromatin and the cellular phenotype.
