The purpose of this study was to determine which of two methods (CD-ROM) or Human Patient Simulator (HPS) was more effective in increasing lower-level, higher-level cognition, critical thinking, and performance relative to caring for trauma patients. A prospective, pretest-posttest experimental, mixed design was used.
