The minimum space between rows of rivets in the double and triple-row joints is 1.87 diameters, but with the large buster head rivets (AN 455) it will be necessary to increase the spacing of rows to 2.125 diameters to provide clearance between the rive beads.nThe efficiency developed by the riveted joints based on tensile strength of the shyest in the gross section was approximately 57 truant for singles-row joints, 75 percent for two-row joints, and 81 percent for three-row joints.
