This is Part III of a systematic treatment, using zonal harmonic expansion, of the properties and design principles of axially symmetric wirewound magnetic systems. The need for such a summary, in a new form, is defended in the preface, while the details, with descriptions of many new systems, are found in the earlier papers.1, 2
