The purpose of this manual is to assist all Navy crash fire fighters, including fire fighting detach¬ments, utility organizations, and all others, either enlisted or civilian, whose duties are related directly or indirectly to crash fire fighting under naval jurisdiction.nThe scope of this manual discusses all phases of crash fire fighting essential to the crash fire fighter in mastering his skill.
