The possible effect of voluntary food reduction on the hyperlipidemia and weight loss pro¬duced in rabbits after acute local radiation injury was investigated. Pair-fed controls did not develop significantly elevated plasma lipid and lipoprotein levels and did not lose weight, as did their injured mates.nThe technical assistance of A/1C Johnnie F.
