This report briefly summarizes the results of the inves¬tigation of the investigation of shear walls at Stanford University between March 31, 1951, and December 31, 1956.nMethods of predicting the behavior of one-story reinforced concrete and brick shear walls are given. Various parameters affecting the problem are reviewed briefly.nThe investigation was restricted to static loading.
