1. A complete review of the literature is given on the reduction of metallic compounds with metallic hydrides.n2. A review on selective hydrogenations with hydrogenation cata¬lysts is given.n3. A general review on rhenium, rhenium hydrogenation catalysts and some standard catalysts is given.n4. The product of reaction from ammonium perrhenate and sodium borohydride in ammonium acetate-acetic acid buffer was shown by analysis to be consistent with that of rhenium sesquioxide.
