A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE ATTITUDES OF STUDENT GROUPS IN ADVANCED FLYING TRAINING

Data were obtained for one group of students at each base at the begin­ning (Group II T 1) and again at the end (Group II T 2) of training. Changes in attitudes were assessed by computing differences between the two seta of scale scores (Group II T 2 and Group II T I). Since some attrition had occurred, change scores were not available for all of Group II. Means and standard deviations of raw scores, by base and by test group, for the two test administrations, are given in Tables 3 through 6. The differences between (Groups II T 1 and II T 2) scale scores were tested for significance by t tests, using the data from those subjects present for both measurements.
