The report discusses a program intended to ascertain by predetermined research among participating parties the dimensions and general thrust of highway safety education in current practice by private and public agencies, to gauge the general acceptance and response of the news media to these promotional and educational activities and to draw pertinent conclusions as to the current quality and future course of such efforts.
