Statistical Report of Criminal Activity and Disciplinary Infractions in the Armed Forces

The Instruction supersedes and cancels DoD Instruction 7730.47, January 14, 1971. The Instruction prescribes a semi-annual report, concerning criminal activity and disciplinary infractions by military personnel of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, as a supplement to the reporting requirements of DoD Instruction 5200.22, 7730.35, 1325.4, and DoD Directive 5525.1, all of which are designed to elicit trends and indicators concerning the state of military discipline and morale; reveal military personnel categories in need of management attention; and suggest potential problem areas in need of corrective action.
