Between June 30, 1972 and September 15, 1972, Research Services, Inc., of Denver conducted a statewide household survey of met and unmet health needs. A total of 6,500 household interviews were completed. The sampling procedure for the Colorado Health Study was, in effect, concentrated on three Universes, as follows: Colorado's Ten Largest Counties, including Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, El Paso, Jefferson, Larimer, Mesa, Pueblo and Weld; All Other Urban Areas in Colorado; All Other Rural Non-Farm and Rural Farm Areas in Colorado.
