Clinical Evaluation of Microporous Tissue Interface A-V Shunt.

摘要

The purpose of the study is to evaluate a new type of A-V shunt,whose outer surface is coated with a microporous tissue interface (MTI),to obtain tissue fixation and reduce shunt infections and to compare the MTI A-V shunt with standard Silastic Teflon (S-T) shunts. Clinical trials are conducted on patients with acute renal failure and chronic dialysis patients.
