Thompson Clover Research Natural Area

Thompson clover (*Trifolium Thompsonni) is an endangered plant species known only from the Swakane Canyon near Wenatchee, Washington. The Thompson clover research natural area was established by the U.S. Forest Service in 1977 to preserve an 80 hectare tract of *Trifolium Thompsonni for research. Education, and monitoring of environmental baseline conditions; soils, vegetation, fauna, and past use history of the tract are described in the report.
