Selected Bibliography on Construction in Soviet Union. Russian-Language Documents Published in the U.S.S.R. Number I

This bibliography has been compiled from Soviet documents received by the Office of International Affairs, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the U.S.-U.S.S.R. Agreement for Cooperation in the Field of Housing and Other Construction, for which HUD serves as U.S. Executive Agency. The 83 documents selected for inclusion deal with specific aspects of construction, particularly the areas of utilities and structural components. Each Soviet document was evaluated for its potential benefit to U.S. users. Section I is comprised of those deemed valuable for technical experts and scholars in the construction-related fields. In addition to author(s), title, and facts of publication, an abstract appears for each of these documents. Due to limited funds, most of the publications have not been translated into English.
