Volume 3 of the Development of Materials and Strategies for Preshift Equipment Inspection program describes a review of selected plants in the sand and gravel and crushed stone industries, conducted with the objective of identifying the preshift inspection and other training needs not covered by materials presently available. An analysis of the data acquired to characterize the work practices is included as well as recommendations for the development of training materials.
