Aerotriangulation Control of Large Scale Photography from Small Scale Photography

Tests were conducted to determine if a simultaneous adjustment of high and low altitude photography would yield results superior to either scale when used alone. These tests also offered an excellent opportunity to test the metric qualities of two different cameras and the relative metric qualities of black and white and color film. It was concluded that using a simultaneous adjustment is a good photogrammetric practice under certain circumstances. It was also found that the RC-10 camera normally gave a flatter bridge than the RC-8, and there was no appreciable difference in the metric qualities of the black and white and color film used in these tests.
