The objective of the study is to estimate the potential effects that additional precipitation from weather modification through cloud seeding in the Big Spring-Synder, Texas area could be expected to have on irrigated farming, and the subsequent non-farm economic impact on the region. A regional input-output model is used to estimate the economy-side effects of additional rainfall.
