The report presents the results of 67 personal interviews with individuals who were involved in the development of one or more of the eight control technologies under study--wet limestone flue gas desulfurization (FGD); dry FGD; atmospheric fluidized bed combustion; NOx control for utilities; Stage II hydrocarbon vapor recovery; three-way catalysts; SOx control for copper smelters and inherently low-polluting pushing processes for coke ovens.
