This study provides extensive information collected over a two-year period (October 1978 to October 1980) on suppliers of parts and components, materials, and machine tools to the automotive industry in the United States. The objective of the study was to provide data and information in support of analyses of the U.S. automotive industry. Volume 3 concentrates on the suppliers of plastic, glass, and Fiberglass products used in automobile manufacturing.
