Influence of Tree and Site Factors on Western Redcedar's Response to Release: A Modeling Analysis

Fifteen western redcedar stands were sampled to determine the magnitude and duration of growth response to release treatments. Site factors such as slope and aspects were related to the growth response, as were tree characteristics such as age and diameter at breast height. In addition both foliage characteristics and soil characteristics were related to the growth response.
