Impact of Divorce on Recently Divorced Women: Social Support, Strains and Well Being of Divorced Women

摘要

The impact and consequences of divorce upon the well being of recently divorced Puerto Rican women was studied. Life strains, support systems, psychological well being and the interrelationship of these factors were considered. Personal interviews were conducted with recently divorced women using a pretested questionnaire which is included in the report.
