摘要

This longitudinal investigation was designed to explicate interactional differences between mother-preterm and mother-full-term pairs, and test the hypothesis that the expected deviance in mother-preterm pairs would be related to the genesis of language deficiencies in preterm infants. The study was also designed to describe the role of infant biomedical birth status variables in the etiology of language deficiencies. Further, whether or not similar relationships existed for language development of normal full-term children was examined within this context.
