Development of Engineering and Cost Data for Foreign Tin Properties

The report summarizes efforts in the development of engineering and cost data for tin properties in 12 foreign countries. The number and description of the various technical reports prepared and submitted is outlined. The essential changes and reasons for the revised program schedule-contract modifications are discussed in detail. The evolving mines-deposits list and the accompanying criteria classifications are explained along with the verifications-justifications for adding or deleting specific mines or deposits. The final section of the report is devoted to presenting suggestions for improvements to future Minerals Availability System studies. Appendix I is comprised of memorandums justifying property changes. Appendixes II and III are tabulated summaries of property data including reserves-resources, assays, production, and operating costs.
