Historic Structure Report, Content and Printing Prospectus, Bott Cotton Mills, Lowell National Historical Park, Massachusetts

The purpose of the HSR is to provide fundamental data to meet the National Park Service's goal of adaptively using the structures as the park's major interpretive facility. To this end the personnel of several National Park Service and private contractor offices are contributing to the final product. To coordinate these efforts, it has been decided to phase the review, approval, final printing, and distribution of what will be a multi-volume document, estimated to contain between 1,500-2,000 pages. The prospectus outlines and describes the various components in the series. It also presents a tentative schedule of when these items will be printed.
