Vegetation Disturbance History of Great Smoky Mountains National Park: An Analysis of Archival Maps and Records

The report provides a parkwide overview of the vegetation disturbance history of Great Smoky Mountains National Park based upon analysis of existing archival records. Specific objectives were (1) to collate to mappable athropogenic disturbance history information available for fire, farming, and logging on parkwide basis from the park's archieves, and (2) to review the contents of the park's archives with respect to the usefulness of available disturbance history materials.
