Characterization of All Controlled Invariant Subspaces for Spectral Systems

For a class of spectral systems a complete characterization of all controlled invariant subspace contained in a closed subspace will be given. This characterization is given in terms of the invariant zeros of the transfer function. As a consequence of the authors derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of U (KerC), the largest controlled invariant subspace in the kernel of C.
