The publication includes articles containing recommendations and guidelines concerning AIDS that have appeared in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, published by the Centers for Disease Control. Also included are articles containing results of an ongoing prospective evaluation of health-care workers exposed to patients with AIDS. These articles are in chronological order, and some of the more recent articles update and complete recommendations contained in previous articles. An index is provided to enable readers to locate specific information more rapidly.
