Electromagnetic Compatibility - An Introduction to the Theory of Interference and Shielding (3rd Revised Edition)

General aspects of the theory of electromagnetic interference and shielding are presented. In particular, the properties of two one-port systems interacting-at-a-distance are discussed, including the influence of the presence of a shielding domain. Next, the properties of a passive one-port immersed in an arbitrary interfering electromagnetic field are expressed in terms of an equivalent one-port system with internal sources. Finally, the electromagnetic fields emitted by known current distributions in patterns of thin conductors are discussed, while in two examples the influence of a shield will be illustrated.
