摘要

Initial success was achieved in the development of a new and accurate technique for the prediction of thermodynamic properties of asymmetric mixtures. This technique was applied to industrial modeling of supercritical fluid extraction and retrograde condensation. The work is based on statistical mechanical mixing rules and the conformal solution theory of polar fluid mixtures.
