摘要

The performance characteristics of a number of commercially available miniature fluidistors have been deteimined over a wide range of Reynolds number, by testing the original devices with air and water and large scale models with water. There is no trend discernablo common to all the performance parameters but the variation of each separate parameter is presented and discussed. A limited amount of information indicates the effect of Mach and Cavitation numbers.nThis report is divided into two sections. This Section 1 presents, compares and analyses the major results. Section 2 contains all the experimental results in four separate Supplement's, Parts no. 1 to 4..
