摘要

A flap clement typifying a third (lap element of a short takeoff and hunting (SIOL) airplane was designed and fabricated. The purpose of this program was to provide NASA with a representative aircraft part which could be evaluated by flight-simulated tests. The tests are expected to provide an insight to the loading and dynamic response of an airfoil section subjected to a flight airstream and jet engine exhaust impingement.
