The compilers of this book have attempted to give as complete coverage as possible of European production of the four families of components dealt with.nAlthough emphases have been given to components of high quality, where possible, the whole of a manufacturer's relevant product range has been included. Inevitably there are some omissions and gaps, these are due to tack of concise information or because it arrived too late for inclusion. The sections dealing with connectors have involved more work than was envisaged and it has not been possible to include it in this, volume without further delay in publication. This pan is therefore being issued as a separate appendix and will be sent free of charge to all those readers of this book who return the enclosed postcard.
