摘要

The method of projection collocation using cubic B-spline approximants to solve singular integral equations arising in scattering theory is examined. Theoretical error bounds are provided for the approximation which give criteria for estimating the efficiency and convergence of the method. As numerical examples, the two-body K-matrix equation with a separable potential and the Reid 'S sub 0 soft-core potential are solved.
