Studies on Electroless Nickel Baths

摘要

The feasibility of substituting ammonia in alkaline electroless nickel bath has been investigated. It is shown that ethylene diamine can be used in place of ammonia. However, such a bath has a narrow operating range. It is found that ethanolamines in general and triethanolamine in particular are useful substitutes for ammonia in citrate based alkaline electroless baths.
