European Space Industry. Overall Situation: Situation and Prospects for the 23Leading Companies Concerned

The first comprehensive strategic and financial analysis of the European spaceindustry as a whole, with a breakdown for the 23 leading space companies, is studied in the following two parts. Part 1 presents a summary analysis of the overall situation of the European space industry in the areas of employment, sales, statistics by country, and market distribution by type of contracts and customers. It also discusses the relative importance of space production and employment in the companies concerned, especially involving corporate restructuring. Part 2 is a detailed industrial and financial analysis of the 23 European companies with space sales of over ECU 10 million, comprising: (1) an analysis of the overall financial condition of the companies; (2) a roundup of development in all their lines of business; (3) analysis of those companies' space activity and their industrial and financial impact; and (4) a general summary of their space programs.
