Generalised Curvature Continuous Rational Cubics

Rational cubic parametric curve segments expressed in homogeneous coordinates aregiven. The most general form of rational cubic parametric curve segment that joins adjacent segments with curvature continuity, that is a rational G(squared) spline, is given in terms of a set of joint parameters. Rational B-splines and rational Beta-splines are shown to be special cases of it. Sample results show the effects of varying the point parameters in the uniform parameter case. More
