摘要

An analysis has been made of the stability of a system composed of a subsonic canard airframe and a canted-axis gyroscope automatic pilot. The analysis was based on calculations of the airframe frequency response and measurements of the autopilot frequency response. These responses were combined in accordance with the principles of servomechanism theory so that the stability could be determined on the basis of the Nyquist criterion.
