PURIFICATION OF THE RARE GASES I. A Comparison of Active Metals in the Purification of Rare Gases

Fifteen metals were compared in a hot metal method for the purification of the rare gases. Purification temperatures and flow rates are presented with the mass spectrometer analysis of the gas samples to demonstrate the behavior of each metal.
