In 1957 stratigraphic studies and radiometric surveys were made in the Huallanca district, Dos de Mayo Province, Department of Huanuco, Peru,, No radioactivity anomalies were detected in the Cretaceous rocks examined, A stronger continental environment may have prevailed, however, in the areas to the north, south and east, and additional work therein is recommended.
