摘要

An analogue study of floor-warming installations in solid suspended floors has been made with the E.R.A. network analyser. The present study is restricted to the case of a corner room in a flat on a central floor in a multi-storey block. The relative merits of various screed thicknesses and positions and amounts of insulation layers are described. Two "characteristic-ratios" are introduced, which are associated with a given structure and from which the performance of a system may be ascertained for various external ambient and internal air temperatures.
