Its theme was "Applications of Electricity in Horticulture".nThe members of the Committee were received by Mr L.L. van den Bossche of the Verenigde Energiebedrijven van het Scheldeland (EBES). During their stay in Belgium, they visited the famous "Floralien" at Ghent, which included an interesting scientific and technical exhibition, the Rijksstation voor Boerderijbouwkunde (Research Station for Farm Buildings) at Lemberge and some horticultural holdings in the neighbourhood of Ghent and Antwerp.
