摘要

Rare earth tricarballylates were prepared by interaction of rare earth chlorides and an equivalent amount of the di- or trisodium salt of tricarballylic acid. Rare earth tricarballylates precipitate immed¬iately in cold. These were found to be very insoluble. Except for the lan¬thanum species, all the rare earth compounds including yttrium tricarballylate were found to have a hydration number of four. Lanthanum alone was found to form a pent hydrate.
