A two-dimensional, coupled, multiregion analysis of the fully developed temperature and velocity fields in triangular tube bundles with internal, solid nuclear heat sources is presented. Analytical and numerical results for the circumferential variations in the inside and outside tube wall surface temperatures, the tube wall temperature drop, and the inside and outside tube wall heat fluxes are given. The sensitivity of these variations to the pitch-to-diameter ratio of the tube bundle for both the slug flow and the laminar flow coolant cases is investigated.
